| ~Announcing a New Approach for Providing Parents with Ongoing Support~ |
At the conclusion of IMPACT ON YOUTH presentations, parents often linger and ask questions pertaining to their own children. The questions are usually related to specific parenting issues, such as:
|
|
- Reoccurring Discipline Problems
- Low Self-Esteem Concerns
- Pro-Social Skill Development
- Peer Relationship Issues
- Personal Safety Principles in
Day-to-Day Situations
- Developing Responsibility and Character
- Reducing Family Stress
- Defusing Peer, Sibling or Parent/Child Conflicts
- Coping with Change, Loss and Grief

| Coaching for Parents |
Coaching
has been successfully used as a personalized training and development tool
for professionals for many years. I have adapted the professional coaching
model to align with the needs of parents who are interested in individualized
support and practical guidance. Caring and empathy are essential elements
of my approach, but a parent coach is more than a good listener. Whether
the coaching relationship is short- term or ongoing, the effective parent
coach is your partner in facilitating personal growth and change.
|
| As
your Parent Coach, I will help you:
- clarify your primary concerns and high-leverage growth areas
- develop specific, focused strategies to promote positive growth and change
- determine tangible results or benchmarks to enable you to monitor your progress
- identify resources for sustaining momentum and encouraging further development
|
The
hourly fee for coaching services is $50. Coaching for Parents is
primarily provided through pre-scheduled bi-weekly phone appointments with
optional email communications between appointments.
